Being Silly

My Grammy Pammy came to visit me. Here is a video of us being silly

Emma's 1st Ice Cream Cone

Mommy took me out to get my first ice cream cone! Boy was it yummy!
I did really good holding onto it, although it was cold and I set it down to sign "cold" to mommy. She was surprised that I figured that out for myself, although I don't know why, ice cream is obviously cold... anyway here are pictures of me enjoying the ice cream

My Trip to See Great Grandpa George

Great Grandpa George (GG) was in the hospital, so mommy and I thought we would go up to visit him and cheer him up!

Here is me on the plane, I was really good for mommy. My pony, puppers and bear came with me, I hugged them so they wouldn't be scared.

Because we flew on Halloween, I didn't get to dress up, so here is me sitting on GG's "car" at the hospital. Don't I make a great kitty?

GG and I played catch-away, a form of catch and keep away, with my dog Puppers.

Here I am giving him a kiss. Mommy thought I was silly because I would kiss my hand and then press it to his lips. GG loved my kisses!

Here is my walking around at my Grandpa and Grandma Luoma's house. They had a huge backyard with lots of neat stuff to explore!

I got to hang out with my friend Allie. She is such a happy baby and was always smiling at me. We climbed the stairs together.

GG finally got moved from the hospital to his new home. Its in Grand Rapids so it is much closer for my Grandma and Grandpa to visit him. This picture has 4 generations in it!

Going to the Farm

Today Emma and Mommy went to Superstition Farms. They had a special event this weekend. Emma got to see the baby goats, a horse, a donkey, lots of cows and she even got to pet a calf. It is a dairy farm so Emma and mommy got to try strawberry milk and mint oreo flavored ice cream. You can see from the picture how much Emma loved the ice cream. She also got an orange balloon which was pretty exciting for her.

Mmmm Ice cream!

Looking serious. She actually had a huge smile on her face but wouldn't sit still for the camera

Talking with my hands

Emma has a few sign language dvd's that she has learned from. She can sign: Cat, dog, monkey, fish, bird, eat, more, milk, cookie, and all done.

She can say: Ca(cat), Ookie(cookie), Jooooo(Juice), iieeee(kitty), bye-bye, mama, dah-dee(daddy), beee(beep), boo(balloon), Baaabeeee but to nothing in particular.

She can identify her: head, ears, eyes, nose, mouth, tongue, bellybutton and toes.

I'll try and get a video of all of this soon.

Emma the Cleaning Machine!

Emma has fun "helping" mommy clean. She swept with mommy's big broom, and then she gave all the animals a bath. You can see how proud she is after "cleaning" Molly.
She helps with laundry by taking everything out of the basket and throwing it on the floor. Then she puts it all back in again.
